The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, has confirmed the awaited unveiling of one hundred indigenous companies to receive NCDMB’s local content assistance to enhance their capacity in order to do business in the oil and gas sector.
This was announced by the Executive Secretary of the board, Engr. Simbi Wabote during an interview with NOGSpeed in his office. In his statement, Wabote said that the selection for the 100 companies was midwifed by KPMG via a very rigorous and transparent selection process and that the companies have been written and invited to the unveiling ceremony which will take place on January 31, 2019 at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund Conference Centre.
“This is one example of showing our commitment when we say things, that we follow through on them,” Wabote added.
